The idea for Mousetrap came to me during an anxiety attack. It felt as though I had lost control of my body, as if I were trapped inside it. This inspired the story of mischievous mice attacking the main character, a girl who is fully aware of their presence but powerless to stop them.

Before it became an animation, I first explored the concept through an illustrated book. While the story evolved, the core themes remained the same. It mostly captures the helplessness you feel in midst of anxiety attack.

Creating a four-minute animation in just one year with a two-person team was a challenging but deeply rewarding process.
